The Amphi Clothing Bank was founded over 25 years ago by teachers to lend dignity to families in need by providing quality used clothing in a clean and caring environment.
Address: 3335 N. Stone Avenue (behind Amphitheater High School)
How are clothing items distributed?
Every Amphi school has a Clothing Bank Liaison. This person works with the volunteers at the Clothing Bank, as well as parents at their respective school. Parents can make a request to their school’s Clothing Bank liaison. Each school holds a small inventory of clothing that can be distributed “on demand”. If the school does not have items that are needed, the school liaison will send a request to the Clothing Bank volunteers for specific items. Volunteers will fill the order and send the clothing to the school for distribution to the student(s) in need. Parents can either pick up the clothing from the school, or the clothing will be sent home with the child.
Parents can also request a referral form from the Clothing Bank Liaison at their school, and with that referral in hand, can come to the Clothing Bank on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons from 2-5 pm to pick out clothing for their children.
What types of clothing does the Clothing Bank provide to students, and/or accept as donations?
Clean, gently used or new clothing for boys and girls of all sizes, Kindergarten – High School. There is always a need for boys and girls pants sizes 5-14; shoes, new socks and underwear, and jackets or coats.
Where can I drop off donations?
Every Amphi School administrative office as well as our district offices located at 701 W. Wetmore Rd. serve as a drop off point for Clothing Bank donations—please let the office staff know that you are donating your items to the Clothing Bank and our volunteers will come pick up.

How can I help the Clothing Bank?
Cash Donations are always needed to help with the operation of the Clothing Bank. Bulk purchases of new underwear and laundry supplies are made several times per year and there are expenses associated with keeping the facility up and running. DONATE ONLINE!
Volunteer! We are in need of volunteers to help accept, sort & wash donations, fill orders for schools, and to hold “open house” shopping events for families to come pick out clothing for their own children. If you have time to share, please contact the Amphi Foundation at 696.5147.
Organize a Clothing Bank Drive at your company, church or school. The Clothing Bank is always in need of new socks & underwear in children’s sizes—ask your employees, friends, or congregation to bring a package to donate at your next event! We are so thankful to our community partners who organize drives to collect necessary Clothing Bank items several times a year. Email us at [email protected] to learn more.
