Lisa DaDeppo
Amphi Teacher and Parent

Lisa began her career as an educator at Wilson K-8 in 1997, after graduating from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Political Science, and a post-Bac certification in Secondary Education.  She completed her M.A. in Language, Reading, and Culture in 1999. She left K-12 teaching to work with academically at-risk student-athletes at the University of Arizona, and then the University of Maryland, College Park. During her time at UMD, she earned her Ph.D. in Special Education. Upon returning to Tucson in 2005, Lisa began teaching in the Reading department at Pima Community College Downtown and Northwest campuses. In 2011 she began working part-time as the coordinator of the Reading Room at Harelson Elementary School and in 2013 she took a position at Cross Middle School as the Writing Lab teacher. Since being at Cross, she has also taught Odyssey of the Mind and Career Exploration.

Lisa enjoys being involved in the Amphi community and has served on several school-based teams, including Harelson PTO, Cross Site Council, and CDO Odyssey of the Mind parent organization. She and her husband have three children that attend Harelson, Cross, and CDO.
