The Amphi Foundation recently awarded over $70,000 directly to our schools. We asked them what their greatest needs were and then we helped fulfill those needs.
Congratulations to these 10 schools who were funded through this grant program.
Copper Creek Elementary School – $5,000 to purchase supplies for a new school wide initiative, Create Time
Cross Middle School – $10,000 for Chromebooks
Winifred Harelson Elementary School – $10,000 for Chromebooks
Innovation Academy – $5,600 for a Smartboard and Chromebooks
Helen Keeling Elementary School – $1,400 for study materials for professional development on Understanding Poverty
Mesa Verde Elementary School – $6,400 for Wilson Reading Program & staff training
Prince Elementary – $3,700 to create a Sensory Path and Calming Corners—tools to address the social-emotional needs of students
Rio Vista Elementary School – $9,800 for Maker Space materials
Lulu Walker School – $8,400 for Maker Space materials
Wilson K-8 School – $10,000 for Maker Space technology
