Donation-based and volunteer-run, the Amphi Foundation Clothing Bank has provided resources to Amphi students in need for over 40 years. With cash donations and grant funding, we are able to provide new and gently used clothing, shoes, jackets, backpacks, hygiene supplies, and more. Volunteers distribute over 30,000 items annually to thousands of Amphi students in need.

Where is it located? 3335 N. Stone Avenue (behind Amphi High School)

When is it open? Students, families and staff can visit each Tuesday and Wednesday during the school year from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., or by appointment. We are closed during the summer and school breaks. Please check the Amphi School District calendar for this information.

How are clothing items and resources distributed? Families are encouraged to come to the Clothing Bank on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, or call the Amphi Foundation office if they need to make an appointment outside of these hours.

What if we need resources but can’t come to the Clothing Bank? Caregivers and students can work with their school’s health office, social worker or counselor to request specific items. They can also fill out this form. Volunteers will fill the order and send items to the school for distribution to the student in need. All resources from our Clothing Bank are provided at no cost.

What types of resources does the Clothing Bank provide to students, and/or accept as donations? We provide clean, gently used or new clothing for students of all sizes, preschool – high school. We also offer shoes, jackets, and accessories such as backpacks and lunch boxes, as well as personal hygiene supplies and lice kits. Donations of all kinds are needed, with the greatest needs being pants sizes 5-14, shoes, new socks and underwear, and jackets or coats, as well as cash donations.

Where can I drop off donations? Every Amphi school office serves as a drop off point for donations. Please let the office staff know that you are donating your items to the Clothing Bank and our Amphi facilities will pick up items and deliver to us. Donations can also be made at the Clothing Bank on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. during the school year.

How can I help the Clothing Bank?

Cash donations are always appreciated to help with the operation of the Clothing Bank. Bulk purchases of new underwear and laundry supplies are made several times per year and there are small expenses associated with keeping the facility up and running.
