Each year, the Amphi Foundation honors members of the Amphi community with the Distinguished Alumni, the Heart of Amphi, and the Excellence in Education awards at our annual fundraising gala. If you know someone who is deeply rooted in the Amphi community, or who graduated from an Amphi school, and is doing great things in the world, we want to know!
Distinguished Alumni Award
This award recognizes and honors alumni of an Amphitheater School District high school (Amphi High, Canyon Del Oro or Ironwood Ridge) who have demonstrated noteworthy accomplishments, significant, achievements or exceptional contributions, either in their professional pursuits or through dedicated volunteer efforts.
Heart of Amphi Award
This award recognizes an individual who has contributed extensive volunteer time, financial support, and/or expertise to the significant betterment of the population that the Amphi Foundation serves and embodies the heart and spirit that make the Amphi community special.
Excellence in Education
This award recognizes and honors an educator who has demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, and impact at a classroom, school, or district level. It celebrates someone who has gone “above and beyond” in their commitment to effect positive change in the lives of students and contribute to the advancement of education. The awardee exemplifies the transformative power of dedicated educators. Candidates for this award have leveraged the partnership with the Amphi Foundation to make a significant difference. They have demonstrated a passion for education, actively engaging with the Foundation’s initiatives to enhance the educational experience in Amphi.
Deadline for Nominations
Each nomination should be in a letter format of no more than one single-sided page in length. Nomination letters must be received via email to amphifnd@amphi.com no later than Friday, February 14, 2025.
Nominations will be reviewed and selected by the Amphi Foundation’s Gala Awards Committee. Winners will be notified by the end of February, and awards will be formally presented at the 2025 Amphi Foundation Gala during the evening of Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Westin La Paloma resort.
